Hello! My Name is Chef Udo. I started my career at the age of 14, when my father packed me onto his motorcycle to drive me to my apprenticeship as a cook.
Now I am here with 50 years of experience on my back! From working worldwide in exclusive 5 star hotels as an executive chef, corporate executive chef and as a mentor at a culinary school in Kenya. I am now using my precious skill set as a culinary consultant in all fields of the hotel trade.
My approach is to observe and find the small details, which then lead to the bigger picture. I am privileged to have had the chance to work with outstanding people from all cultures and nationalities and also this has shaped me to the person I am today! Respect, awareness and diplomacy are key, in order to build teams and success! My expertise are kitchen organization, cost control, haccp, menu engineering, store purchasing - just to scratch the surface.
